Step
1
Ensure that the embankment is stable. Engineering advice must be sought. Step 2Position the front plates on a bed of concrete. Haunch either side with concrete and lay a land drainage medium to a level of 100mm below top of the front plate. |

Lay a 100mm thick bed of lean mix concrete, level with the top of the front plate and lay the terrace step elements to line. |

Haunch back a step unit with mix concrete and back fill with compacted earth. Finish the backfill with a 100mm thick layer of lean mix concrete as before. Step 5Repeat the process to the top of the steps. |

Complete the installation with a top plate laid on a 100mm thick bed of lean mix concrete. |

At the junction between seating and standing elements the face should be rendered. Once the render is dry a facing plate can be fixed using the polymer repair kit. Step 8The ends of the steps can be finished off with end plates fixed as described in step 7. |
